Good Bye Kingdom

I finally got to say Good Bye to kingdom of Saudi Arabia(not kingdom exists this days). Though I have not yet reached India because I am stuck in AbuDhabi airport rite now. I still have 8 hours in my hand before i board my next flight to India,my condition is slightly better than Tom Hanks in Terminal as luckily this time my office gave me Business class ticket and I got the opportunity to be in the Etihad Premium lounge, it is from their big 21" macintosh that I am composing this post. The contrast between the AbuDhabi airport and Dammam airport are startling, AbuDahbi has one of the best airports in the world and here one get to see a very good crowd from all over the world and for someone like me who as spent last three months in Saudi, where the only part of female u can see is their eyes if you are lucky may be their eyes sometime, I am enjoying every bit of it now.
Thats all for the time being, more on Saudi after reaching India.

This is a virtual world.

Ever since blogging and social networking sites came into being it changed the life of lot of people, I don't mean the writers or the reporters who were not getting employed till than. I mean the common people who normally used to be unnoticed among the lot. They got a new life a new identity in this virtual world of Internet. In this virtual world they could be what they always wanted to be in the real world; but it was not possible because they were either unattractive or because of the people around them wouldn't let them be what they wanted to be. The Internet gave them an even platform to compete with others. The girl who was never the most popular girl in college managed to earn thousand of followers and fans through her writing and bold portrayal of her inner self. The boy who was the favourite bunny of big bullies in school now could criticise or bully anyone with his writing and also get scores of people to support his views. This is a world where the blog is mightier than the sword.

Suadi Arabia VS South Korea in Office

Today in our office the world cup qualifying match between Saudi Arabia and South Korea was screened. Before you start wondering why would they screen such a match in any office in India, let me tell you that right now I am stationed in Saudi Arabia. Our client requested the screening of the match , this was a important match for Saudi Arabia to make it to the final rounds of World Cup 2010, since our consultants were Koreans it made the atmosphere even more electrifying.

While watching the match I started wondering how it will be like to watch India's match in the ongoing T20 world cup on big screen in office. A final between India and Pakistan like the last edition will be great to watch and the good number of Pakistani employees in our Saudi office will make the atmosphere very competitive. It will be great to see the pain of losing on my Pakistani lead engineer's face.
Or a match between India and England would not be bad, my PMT who is a big MAN U is a British.
It will be a great sight to see the Arabs cheering on Yuvi's sixes and Doni's boundaries.

But before my dream comes true India have to make it to the semis, lets c what Dhoni's boys do today.
Oh by the way the match ended in a 0-0 draw.
